Erica Eloff is a member of the Landestheater Linz where her roles include LEONORE Fidelio, CONTESSA Le nozze di Figaro and MIMI La Boheme. Recent guest engagements include Rodrigo (title role) Händel Festspiele Göttingen, LEONORE Fidelio Theater Ulm, Tosca (title role) Schlossfestspiele Schwerin, Tosca and FIORDILIGI Cosi fan tutte Theater Lübeck and Theater Bielefeld, DONNA ANNA Don Giovanni Mozartfest Würzburg, FARNASPE in J.C. Bach’s Adriano in Siria Classical Opera Company, and her debut in Argentina in a new work composed for her by Augusto Arias.

Past engagements have included BLUMENMÄDCHEN 1 Parsifal City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Tippett’s A Child of our Time Southbank Centre, and Handel’s Catone in Utica London Handel Festival. In the UK, Erica has also worked with Garsington Opera, Bury Court Opera, Cambridge Handel Opera and Opera North, whilst engagements abroad have taken her to the Düsseldorf Festival, Palazzo Montanari Bologna, NWU Opera in South Africa and WOWSA Opera Pretoria. She was the winner of the London Handel Competition.

On the concert platform, Erica has sung Mahler 2nd Symphony and Mendelssohn’s Elijah Barbican Centre, and St. John Passion Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. She has worked regularly with Laurence Cummings and the London Handel Players in repertoire such as Handel’s Theodora, Messiah, Bach’s Passions and B Minor Mass. A champion of contemporary music, Erica has given world premieres of works by British, Argentinian and South African composers, including works written for her by James Wilding and Hannes Taljaard.
